Up over two packs a day when I was younger and cigarettes cost under 60 cents a pack. They were 35 cents a pack out of a machine when I started. I quit when I was somewhere close to 30. I started smoking on occasion later. Usually that meant when I was playing music. two three nights a week. For the past several years,... Wednesdays and Saturdays. I didn't crave them on Tuesday... and there were times where I was out of commission for various reasons and didn't smoke for weeks but the first jam night I didn't make it past the first convenience store. It's been 6 weeks,.. but only 5 playing occasions It is killing me tonight. Funny thing is,.. even though it's wednesday,.. I won't be playing til tomorrow,... Half way to St Pattys with the Irish Band. Can't wait,.. Man I could practically kill for a cigarette. |

| Friday September 17, 2009 09:12 AM PDT I started smoking when I was 12. With a note from Mama I could buy cigs at the neighborhood market. I got pretty good at forging those notes. In high school I smoked menthols because almost no one would bum one off me. I've quit several times, sometimes for years. I quit in June of 2007. Made it clear up to August 2009. I'm like you - I smoke in certain situations. I totally understand smoking while jamming. I couldn't go to a bar w/out smoking. It's hard enough to go and not drink. =^p Smokers like us are unusual - we don't have to smoke every day but when we want a cigarette, WE WANT IT NOW! BTW ... THURSDAY *HUGS* !!! | ||
