except for fri, Ms G and Liv,.. and well since they are the only ones who ever stop by,... erm,.. well,... erm,.. I guess it's not really mid-blog,. after all. Started new job last Monday. Long commute,.. big company,... 17,000+ employees Man,.. is my cube crowded,... Gonna get to do some cool stuff if the commute doesn't get to me. |
| Friday September 29, 2008 03:40 PM PDT I dont' envy you the commute. To get to work I only have to put my feet on the floor ... *BOOM* I'm at work. Time to make the bed, clean the bathrooms, run errands, do the laundry -- always something to do. I'd go for a fixed-hours job just about now. Hope the cool things you get to do compensate for the commute. *hugs* | ||
| doctordoug September 28, 2008 09:33 AM PDT The trip is about 37 miles one way. Depending on the time of commute,.. I have made the trip in as little as 40 minutes and as much as 80 minutes. Once I get myself settled into the work load I should be able to from home one day a week. | ||
| Miss Ginger September 27, 2008 06:05 PM PDT How long of a commute? The area that I'm in is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Montreal, but given the terrible state of the closest bridge and the number of people who travel over it, the home-to-work commute can be as long as an hour and a half *each way*. Glad I work from home! Hope your new job rocks! | ||
