| doctordoug September 17, 2008 09:35 AM PDT  Actually in the past 20 years,... this will be my eigth job,... I guess nobody loves me,.. snurft,... Two of those jobs ended up in getting laid off. Had I stayed at two others I would have been outsourced. Yeah,.. Changing jobs is stressful. I'm gonna admit that having gotten interview practice in the last 6 months prolly shortened my unemployed period quite a bit. | ||

I'm so locked in to my situation that it's hard for me to imagine it. Well, not really- actually, the trauma of changing jobs is an ever-present reality for me, even after 20 years here. They don't seem to know how to get rid of me, and I don't seem to know how to leave. We love each other, in other words... | ||

| Friday September 10, 2008 02:16 PM PDT  Funny thing. I took my tie-dye shirt off for about 45 mins to wash it and felt guilty. Glad the 45 min tie-dye vigil interruption didn't jinx anything! So glad for you, Doug! I've thought of you every single day, truly. How could I help it ... every time I looked in the mirror, there was me in tie-dye waiting for the good word from you. Mr. Man thought I was nuts! But then, I think he thought that before the tie-dye marathon. Wondering if I should retire my tie-dye shirt now until we need more good vibes. :) | ||
